He Haifeng graduated from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and has a Ph.D. in Law. He holds qualifications for securities, fund, and futures practices. He specializes in dealing with commercial disputes relating to securities, asset management and banking.

He was formerly employed in a Chinese central government institution, CITIC Securities, and JD Finance and had provided legal services for over 10 asset management companies. His former clients include private equity companies, insurance companies, banks, and private individuals.

He conducts academic research for the National Social Sciences Foundation and has published academic articles and reviews in reputable newspapers and magazines, including People’s Daily, Financial News,  Global Finance Magazine and Law and Economy Magazine. His research on "The Law System of Financial Supervision on the Basis of Big Data" won First Place in the national project examination.
